PC Modding
If you're interested in PC modding and case mods, many cases available online provide all kinds of modding options that you can purchase along with your case. Between LED's and cold-cathode lighting, custom fan-grills, LED fans, and custom-designed case models, it's not hard to get your case looking like no one else's. If you want to do some hard-core case mods and have the knowledge and tools to do so, here's a great site with some really cool ideas.
Lighting
Getting your case lit up is one of the easiest ways to mod your case and make it look just the way you want it. You can replace whatever stock fans your case came with, with lighted fans wherever they can be installed (just be sure to install your fans correctly so as to not mess up the air-flow in your case).
Adding cold-cathodes to your case is another easy way to light up your case inexpensively. You can also add sound-activated cathode lighting that will flash or light up differently when it detects vibrations. You can turn your PC case into a legit disco!
Grills
Adding custom fan grills is another option you have for spicing up your case. Many of them also come with LED's like the one pictured here. Grills are typically mounted externally over the case fan ducts.
